Those Rogers & Sons
Nnrseries
Successors to COOPER & ROGERS
Winfield, Kansas
1 have puychased the interest of Mr. Cooper and have taken ntjy
sons in the business with me. We Have all followed the business during
our careers and know what it takes to produce good, healthy trees that
will grow and give satisfaction.
We grow our own trees and do our own grading so we know just
the kind of trees that will be used in filling your order. Nothing too good
for our customers. Once a customer, always a satisfied customer.
Prices — You will find that we have cut our prices on many items
50 per cent and reduced greatly on all stock. We are in a way farmers
and depend upon them for our business. We have been at great cost
producing this stock, high wages, rents, packing material, twine and
other items have cost us much more this year, but we are able to real-
ize that the prices on farm products have fallen below cost of pro-
duction and so we put our prices on so that your dollars will go as far
as we can possibly make it.
Express and Freight— We will pay express or freight on all orders
amounting to over $25.00. On smaller orders we pack and deliver free at
our station. Most orders should go by express. Our trees are too large
to be sent by Parcel Post.
Remittance — Should be sent by postal or express money order, bank
draft, or we will take your personal check if you prefer.
Do not send currency as it is unsafe.
Club Orders— If a number of neighbors order together, we will tie
each order separate, with the purchaser’s name attached, and then pack
all in one bale or box. We will pay transportation charges on such orders
if the amount is over $25.00 Persons sending in club orders will be given
credit for IJO per cent in trees, or any stock they wish for their trouble.
If you get up the club be sure to mention your name.
Claims— All claims for errors, shortages, or anything else pertain-
ing to your shipment should be made promptly after receipt of goods.
In writing about your order always give number and all informa-
tion pertaining to it. Mistakes will occur so in case of any error on our
part notify us and we stand ready to make it right and give complete
satisfaction in the matter.
Shipping Facilities— We have Sante Fe, Mo. Pacific, Frisco,
Southern Kansas and express companies.

BLACKBERRY
Our Blackberries are all root cutting
plants. This is the only kind that should be
planted. Many use suckers but we do got re-
commend them. They are cheaper to grow but
we want our stock to deliver the goods and
we only sell what we know will give complete
satisfaction to our customers.

berries and Mersereau for late. We have run
experimental blocks on many varieties and
have found these two to be the best. We want
everyone v/ho likes berries to have a patch of

Note— Strawberry plants are packed 25 in a
bunch. We do not sell less than 25 of each
variety. We do not dig our plants until ready

not dried out before shipment. We grow our
own plants and they are the best that can be
produced anywhere We recommend the

EVERGREENS
Abor Vitae Pyramidalis, Arbor Golden,
Irish Juniper, and Juniper Stricta are highly
recommended by us for evergreen planting in
cemetery or yard for specimens. They are
dwarf, neat in their habits and very attract-
ive. We also recommend the Kosters Blue
Spruce for the lawn. The above varieties will
be shipped with a ball of dirt on the roots. On
other varieties add 15c
to the
price
if you
want them balled.
